Any licensed comprehensive community mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities center designated as a regional program by the West Virginia Department of Human Services is automatically eligible for membership in the Association.
Any other behavioral health agency that is not a licensed comprehensive community mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities center designated as a regional program by the West Virginia Department of Human Services may apply for membership in the Association.
To be eligible for membership in the Association, such applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
Eligibility for membership in the Association shall be determined by the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall also have the authority to establish membership fees and annual dues to be paid by the members.
Any member may withdraw from the Association by providing ninety (90) days written notice of withdrawal and by paying in full all fees and dues then due and outstanding to the Association.
Members in good standing shall be eligible to attend meetings, to benefit from any entitlements made available by the Association to its members, and to exercise its voting rights. Each member shall have one vote. Any member that has failed to pay all fees and dues in full within sixty (60) days of their established due date shall lose its good standing status, and shall not be eligible to attend meetings, to receive member entitlements, or to vote until such time as the delinquent fees and dues have been paid in full, unless the failure to pay such fees and dues in full is subject to an installment repayment plan that has received the approval of the Executive Committee.
